My role: UX Research, UX Design, Product Strategy, Story Telling, Conceptualization, and Prototyping.

The Challenge

Most of our lives are a combination of work, family, and community involvement. A pandemic can affect all of these areas. Being informed and knowing what to do during a pandemic can help minimize the impact. 

 

During the Caos of the first year of 2020, we could observe how poorly prepared we are to face a pandemic like that of COVID-19. With the idea of safeguarding ourselves and our families, supermarkets ran out of supplies in a matter of days. People were not preparing for this global pandemic. We did not know how much food, supplies, or medicine to buy. So ignorance and despair, now have a significant consequence in society. 

Our opportunity was to create meaningful solutions that will provide verified information and create meaningful services for addressing pandemic diseases currently and in the future, so that people are accessing correct information: What's working well to motivate behavior change, what isn't working, and what feels missing out.

How might we use Design Thinking methodologies to flatten the covid-19 curve in our communities and how one can be prepared for future pandemics?

Guide Me

Guide me is an App designed to guide you in states of emergency. Borns from the research developed during the quarantine by COVID19, we analyzed several of the needs of users by not knowing how to act during a pandemic. It is focused on being emotional support and facilitating the preparation of the user in different emergencies.
